Online payments at www.chocolaterie.brussels are processed using the Mollie and Stripe gateways.

Through the Mollie platform, we accept many debit and credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Vpay, Maestro, American Express and Bancontact. In addition, we accept electronic payments thru Belfius Direct Mobile, KBC Mobile, iDEAL and Apple Pay. Still using the Mollie platform, we propose to our clients a no fuss shopping experience. They can shop now and pay later using the Klarna solution.

Through the Stripe platform, we also accept other international credit card brands such Discover, JCB and Diners International. We accept payments by Paypal for amounts up to 750 euros. If the amount to be paid is higher than 750 euros, the Paypal option will not be listed during the checkout.

Important notice: All orders placed on our website are final. It means that once you have confirmed your order at the check-out then you are legally bound to pay for it. You will need to click the mention: "By clicking Buy, I acknowledge that I have an obligation to pay for this item and agree with the general terms & conditions".

You can pay any pending invoice using our online payment system via Stripe, Mollie or Paypal.

For security purposes, we limit the transactions made by Apple Pay and credit cards to a maximum of 1.000 euros. Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) is required for each online transaction as mandated by the PSD2 SCA requirements. The Card Schemes are mandating the use of 3D Secure for all online card payment to address the PSD2 SCA requirements. As a result of this, only 3D secure payments can be processed online.

It is always possible to pay an invoice by bank transfer. In that case, the order will only be validated once the money has been credited into our bank account which can take up to 5 working days. We are offering two possibilities:

The key to our B2B platform is the digital or e-invoice. By digitising all our incoming and outgoing invoices, we have automated a number of time-consuming processes. Saving us loads of time. We can also easily send our e-invoices over the Peppol network (which includes public services) and automatically archive them in the cloud.

Peppol is an acronym for Pan-European Public Procurement On-Line and is an open network for securely sending and receiving digital business documents such as invoices. Peppol was co-financed by the European Commission and 18 government agencies to simplify the purchase-to-pay process between public and both suppliers and private organisations. Although the Peppol network was co-developed by the European Commission, it is an international network that is also used outside Europe and is well on its way to becoming the new standard for exchanging invoices.
